When Rick Turner took ownership, the United Way become the company's primary focus with a yearly employee contribution/company match.
For the last 25 years, Matric has been one of United Way's top contributors.
Aside from the yearly contributions, Matric raises additional funds throughout the year.
Other supported organizations include Family Service Children's Aid Society, Big Brothers & Big Sisters program, and the American Red Cross.
Prior to COVID-19, Matric held two blood drives a year to support the local blood supply. Employees were encouraged to sign up and participate during the workday. It was open to family members as well. Matric looks forward to donating once again.
During the COVID-19 crisis, Matric used their 3D printers to print visors for local EMT's, police departments, and hospitals.
